GARBANZO GRILL OPENS SECOND HOUSTON LOCATION
Denver-based Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant concept, announced the grand opening of its first Houston location. Opening April 15 at the Gateway Shopping Center, the new restaurant is owned and operated by Tyson Shields and Raj Bansal. “The Houston community has been extremely welcoming and eager for us to open a Garbanzo restaurant in their area,” says Tyson Sheilds. “The new Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill is in a great location in the energy corridor, and we are proud to provide a healthy fast casual option. We are also pleased to offer catering to the Houston area.” The newest Garbanzo joins existing company-owned and franchisee-owned locations throughout the country. “Houston is a great location for Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, and we are grateful to have Raj and Tyson as a part of the Garbanzo team,” says Bob Bafundo, the president of Garbanzo. “We are thrilled to offer the same fresh Mediterranean menu we are known for throughout the country at our second Texas location.” The two days prior to the grand opening, the new location is holding a fundraiser for the Covenant House, the largest privately funded charity in the Americas providing loving care and vital services to homeless, abandoned, abused, trafficked, and exploited youth. The public is invited to attend the fundraiser on April 13 and April 14. Garbanzo offers guests a variety of authentic Mediterranean items with an emphasis on flavor, freshness and quality, as well as a healthy menu. Guests have the ability to customize every meal with items such as pita, falafel, hummus, seasoned rice, sauces and dressings. QSR (Source)
